Yes! We ship all over the country, especially waterfowl and pheasant eggs, adult waterfowl, and pheasants. Most chickens are picked up here on the farm.
All birds who haven't laid eggs yet should be fed 18%- 20% protein crumbles, this is commonly called chick feed/starter/grower. Once they lay their first egg, switch to 16% layer feed. Its important to note that all birds can eat both feeds with no issues, but the younger birds grow faster on the higher protein, and the hens currently laying benefit from the higher calcium in the layer feed.
Granit grit and oyster shells should be given free choice before they start to lay and throughout their life. Grit is important to all birds to help breakdown their food, and oyster shell is helpful to keep the egg shells strong.
